Yes folks, we are the newest members of the allergy kingdom. Healthwise, it was a bumpy road as we've settled in since last fall, especially for Jayna. As spring sprung, things did not appear to be getting better. We finally got to the doctor, and are so thankful that God has provided competent help (and just under a 5 min. drive away!). Being diagnosed with a persistent ear infection, Jayna just finished her 4th round of antibiotics since moving to Louisville last fall. Kurt and Jayna are both on 3 allergy meds and doing MUCH better!

I know, I know! Mine are awful here. I am a nerd, but I joined up with Pollen.com e-mail alerts. Today is supposed to be a low pollen day... but my eyes are still itchy. I am trying Zyrtec, and I'm trying to get in with the Wheelers' allergy doctor if you need the number.
It's not fun... but it's so pretty and nice compared to the cold winter. Guess there are pros and cons of every season. The allergies can really bring you down though... glad you are tackling them.
We'll have to try the local honey thing together, Jayna!

Welcome to the Ohio Valley! I guess I should have warned you about that before you moved there. ;) Let's just say, our cabinet was stocked full of every allergy med you could imagine when we were growing up! :) Glad you're feeling better now!
